MDSecurity Unique Security Measures
The MDM is usually the weakpoint in any mobile security solution as it controls the devices, this why we take extreme measures to keep this secure. Each server has 100 devices max it controls, servers are only online when it needs to do a job, after pushing a policy, install, or update, they are put offline. Servers are accessed only fysical by an MD technician who will start the server manually. Servers are full disk encrypted, which means our people have to unlock the server by typing passwords during startup, which is the only way to keep such critical important and vunerable part of the system truly secure. The decryption key is plit in 2 parts between MD and the Distributor with either party compromised making decryption not possible.
